In June 2006, Pearl Jam played at the Meadows Ampitheater in Connecticut, and donated $1 for every ticket sold to Advocacy for Patients with Chronic Illness - $21,171!!!! Since then, Pearl Jam - and, in particular, Mike McCready, who suffers from Crohn's disease - has been a consistent and strong supporter of Advocacy for Patients' work.
