Jennifer Jaff on health insurance on Healthtalk.com - this is a very comprehensive interview that will answer all of your questions about health insurance and then some.

Health Insurance 101: How To Get Coverage, by Advocacy for Patients' Jennifer C. Jaff, Esq., published in the Spring edition of Take Charge, the magazine of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America.

For state by state reports on available health insurance options, try www.healthinsuranceinfo.net, a website created by the Georgetown University Health Policy Institute. There is a paper dedicated to each state, summarizing the health insurance options available in each state.

Advocacy for Patients recently learned of an organization that provides financial assistance to uninsured patients. You can find them at http://www.uneedpsi.org/. Advocacy for Patients has not had any experience with this organization yet, but it's worth exploring.

Although Advocacy for Patients has not had direct experience with all of these, but we urge you to explore them -- and please share your feedback so we can evaluate the various organizations.
